Where's the beef?
Well, he left Dunshane a few weeks ago as a big, black bullock (male cow). Bill, Dylan, and crew picked him up yesterday from the abattoir (romantic name for slaughterhouse). Now, he's 400kg of beef in the freezer.
Tomorrow, he'll be in the lasagna as part of the mince meat. And, of course, we'll continue to eat roasts and steaks and stews of beef all winter long.
